Self- reflection
I feel that I have got to know photoshop really well. And that I am able to photoshop any picture into what I want it to be. Overall just my creative skills have gained because i'm able to start from scratch and make something good out of a picture. For the last few weeks of the semester, I hope to be able to learn indesign a little more. And I hope to come out with a good final prodject. Something that still challenges me is illustrator. I can do the basics of illustrator, but I can't figure it out in depth.

This is the website that I found was really helpful. It gave about 60 logo examples of different businesses. It let me understand that you don't necessarily have to have a picture in your logo, and you can make your words interesting and have that your logo. On this website there is a link where you can find tips on how to be more creative when it comes to making objects like logos, this was really helpful as well!

This is my panorama project. It is a picture of my house out in front of my block, which in real life has a slight curve to it. I took a series of 4 pictures in this photograph. First I placed them together where they matched up best, then I took the eraser and smoothed the edges so you couldn't tell that I had separate pictures. Then for the first picture on the way left, I changed the lighting in it so that there wasn't such a contrast between the two pictures. Then I cropped the image as a whole so that the size of the different pictures all matched into one picture.

I looked at the website on 13 different steps of how to be a better photographer and I found that it was actually very helpful. It had tips that I didn't even realize to look for when it comes to taking a photograph. Starting out with tip number two, It is very important to look at the background of your picture before you take the picture and check if there is any distractions that will take away from your main focus. Another step that is helpful is step number 5, it tell you that the closer you get to an object can make the picture more beautiful in detail rather than showing everything around your main object. Step number 8 was also good advice I thought, it tells you to find a focal point in the picture and not just random objects. Step number nine was interesting to me in the fact that they tell you to not place your main objects in the middle of your picture, but to actually place it off center and that will make your focal point stand out more. The last step that I thought was helpful is step number 12, it tells you to make sure that you use different modes for different situations when you are taking pictures. For example when you take pictures of people playing sports you have to set it to a mode where the picture is taken quickly. Overall this website might be a little wordy at times; however, it has a lot of useful information when it comes to taking a good photograph.
